Mistakes
To enable you to access the service
rapidly, we usually supply PIN's by email. Please take care to order the
phonecard that you want. Once the PIN is issued, the phonecard cannot be changed
or refunded because we cannot prevent you from using it.
If the wrong card is purchased or the
choice changed, we can only rectify the mistake BEFORE the PIN is issued if it
is issued by phone or email. Once the PIN is issued, the card cannot be changed
or refunded because of the security risk involved. Most purchases are issued instantly which does not allow time for
notification. ALL sales are final once the PIN is dispatched or issued.
Our full Terms & Conditions are listed below.

Refunds
If
your order is cancelled for any reason or if it is rejected through non compliance with the terms and conditions, a refund will be made to the same debit or credit card that
was used and a deduction of 10% or £1.50, whichever is the greater, will be made to cover credit card processing
charges incurred.
ALL sales are final once the PIN is dispatched or issued
by phone or email and therefore cannot be cancelled.
Once the PIN is dispatched or issued by phone or email the service is
available for you to use and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling)
Regulations 2000 will cease to apply.

We will NOT pass on your email address (or any other details) for marketing by another
trader or company and you will not receive any marketing email from us (we hate
junk mail too). Your
email address will be used solely for the purposes of the transaction,
receipts, security, purchase details, rate and service updates and other
essential details to enable you to use our service. Please note that our
method of transaction, receipt and delivery is by email. If you fail to enter a valid email address and phone number with us, you may be unable to receive
important details
from us or the payment process.
Credit/Debit card payments are processed on our behalf by
WorldPay plc or PayPal (Europe) Ltd on
their secure payment server.
The type of information we will collect about you is:
- your name
- address
- phone number
- email address
- credit/debit card details are only known to us if you order by
telephone. If
you buy online we NEVER have access to your credit card details!
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit
consent.
The information we hold should be accurate and up to date. You can check the
information that we hold about you by contacting us. If you find any inaccuracies
we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance
with our internal security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic

Credit/Debit card payments are processed on our behalf by Worldpay plc and
PayPal (Europe) Ltd on their Secure Payment Server. WorldPay is part of The
Royal Bank of Scotland Group and PayPal (Europe) Ltd is authorised and regulated
by the Financial Services Authority in the United Kingdom as an electronic money
institution.
Your credit card details will only be retained by WorldPay or PayPal and the
acquiring bank. WorldPay or PayPal processes your payment and
arranges with us for your goods or services to be dispatched. WorldPay and
PayPal supply very sophisticated, cutting edge card checking and authorisation
systems that enable you to purchase online. These systems have been developed
over several years, use state of the art technology and undergo regular scrutiny
from banking and other strategic partners to ensure that they conform to their
high standards. The systems are modified regularly to incorporate not only
additional functionality and flexibility but also to build in additional checks
to ensure that your account is not compromised by fraudsters.
The processing centre is securely linked to NatWest and
other processing banks worldwide, who handle the credit card authorisations
on-line and process the transactions in real time. It is now well known that
Internet payment solutions in general are inherently more secure than other
methods of making purchases in 'cardholder not present' situations such as
telesales or even when giving a card to a waiter in a restaurant. |
Contract of Terms & Conditions
1.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed according to English Law. By purchasing any product or service you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.
2.
Although Abacom Technical Services Ltd (Abacom) will endeavour to ensure the accuracy of all information made available on the web site, neither
Abacom nor any directors, employees or representatives will be liable for damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the use of this site.
3.
You undertake that all the details you provide to us for the purpose of purchasing goods
or services or registration with us for a supply of services are correct, and that the Credit or Debit card you are using is your own and there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the purchase. If there are any changes to the personal information supplied by
you since you last used our services, it is your responsibility to inform us immediately and in any case, at the start of any transaction. Each and every time you make a purchase
by phone or from our website, you confirm that the information which we hold about you is true and accurate. You may update your details
whenever wish, even without making a purchase. When a purchase is made online,
we do NOT have access to your credit or debit card details but we reserve the
right to request them for manual verification of
you being the authorised user of the credit or debit card if sufficient
alternative proof of ID is unavailable. In all cases, we may request
further information to confirm your identity. The online confirmation of payment
does not signify our acceptance of your order which may be rejected if we cannot
verify the information including the credit/debit card information supplied. The
details that you have supplied must match the details held by your Card Issuer
exactly. If they do not, we may defer acceptance of your transaction and seek
further proof to identify you as the authorised user of the credit/debit card or
decline your purchase altogether. This is in order to protect cardholders
against misuse of their card.
4. For mail deliveries, the delivery address provided must be the same as the
address registered with your credit or debit card company. For phone or email/online
deliveries,
you must provide an address (which must be the same as the address
registered with your credit or debit card issuer), a valid
email address and contact phone number.
Where possible, an Internet Service Provider based or business email
address would be preferable. University customers
must use an ac.uk address. For security reasons,
in certain circumstances we may be unable to accept free web based email addresses.
5. Before the issue of a PIN, if we discover that the personal information
supplied by you including telephone number, email address, credit card
information and/or address is not valid and/or may indicate a possibility of
fraud, we reserve the right to reject the transaction. After the issue of
a PIN, if we discover that the personal information supplied by you including
telephone number, email address, credit card information and/or address is not
valid and/or may indicate a possibility of fraud or non payment for
goods/services supplied, we reserve the right to receive payment or
recover our losses, including processing fees and any chargeback fees, by
application to the county court.
6.
Whilst we are proud of our rapid, often instant delivery of items, in circumstances where we may
have any doubt regarding the Credit or Debit card transaction, regardless of
reason, we reserve the right to delay delivery of the goods or services until
after sufficient alternative proof of ID is unavailable and/or
make delivery by mail. If during the period of obtaining such proof you cancel
the order, we reserve the right to make a deduction from any refund to cover credit card
processing charges incurred.
7.
We will do our best to keep information on our website up to date but the
rates and minutes may be changed without prior notice to us or our customers. Prices and information
are subject to change without notice. If a certain value of phonecard is
temporarily unavailable we reserve the right to supply you with the same
phonecard in multiples of a different denomination to the same value of your
purchase.
8. In the case of Phonecards, the service provided by us is the supply of the
phonecard details i.e. the PIN, access number(s) and helpline number. The
telephone service accessible with those details is provided by a third party
company and you will need to contact them on the helpline (customer services)
number provided with regard to any problems with that service.
We will assist you in any way we can but we can not be held responsible for products that we sell on our website as agents for third parties or for any aspect of the relationship between you and that third party.
9. Especially regarding the different types of telephone cards,
we do try to keep mistakes to a minimum. We try to make our website easy to
follow but realise that mistakes can
happen. Even if the wrong card is purchased or the choice changed, we can still rectify the mistake BEFORE the PIN is issued if it is issued by
phone or email.
Once the PIN is issued, the card cannot be changed or refunded because of the security risk involved.
Many purchases are issued instantly which does not allow time for
notification. ALL sales are final once the PIN is dispatched or issued.
Cancellation Rights
and Refunds.
10. For physical goods, you have right to cancel your order within 7 working
days without giving a reason. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel you
must do so in writing using the form on our
contact
us page or by emailing us at the address shown on your transaction
receipt. We will refund your money within 30 days of receipt of your email
providing any goods have been returned in good order. You will have to pay for
the cost of returning the goods and we expect you pack them securely for safe
transit and to obtain a receipt or proof of posting when returning the goods. In
the case of Phonecards that have had the PIN issued by telephone, email,
download or by any method other than the physical delivery of the card with the
PIN unexposed, the service will have been enabled and commenced at the
time of the issue of the PIN. ALL sales are final once the PIN is
dispatched or issued.
11. If
your order is cancelled for any reason or if it is rejected through non compliance with these terms and
conditions, a refund will be made to the same debit or credit card that
was used and
a deduction of 10% or £1.50, whichever is the greater, will be made to cover credit card processing
charges incurred. If we have supplied goods in sealed packaging, the goods must be
returned unopened. In the case of Phonecards, the PIN seal must be intact with
the PIN not exposed.
12. In the case of any service provided by us,
if the service commences in less than 7 working days, the 7-day cancellation
period shall expire at the time that the service commences. Once the
service has been activated and is available for you to use, the Consumer
Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 will not apply. ALL sales are
final once the PIN is dispatched or issued.

Terms & Conditions
do not affect the consumers' statutory rights
